Recovery in practice E-learning

Most workplaces talk a lot about stress. Far less is said about what balances it out, which is why breaks get skipped exactly when people need them most. That's the recovery paradox, and it's expensive: without recovery, the load from one week is still there at the start of the next. This introductory course gives employees a basic understanding of what recovery is, which kinds of recovery work, and how to create more opportunities for it in everyday life.

From the course:

  • The Balance Between Stress and Recovery

  • What is Recovery?

  • What Kind(s) of Recovery do you Need?

  • Active and Passive Recovery

  • The Recovery Paradox

  • Recovery at and During Work

  • Boost Recovery Together

  • Recovery Exercises

After the course:

  • Employees can tell physical, social and cognitive strain apart, and know what kind of recovery each one calls for

  • People take breaks during the workday instead of pushing straight through

  • Teams have a shared starting point for talking about recovery, not just about workload

  • Everyone has a few concrete exercises they can use right away

The course includes short films with Minna Östman, psychologist at Feelgood, and yoga sessions led by health educator Hannah Leander and worksheets for individual and group follow-up. The course takes about 45 minutes to complete.

A good fit if you want to give all employees the same starting point, and for teams that want to work on recovery together rather than leaving it to each person.
