Managing Worry and Crisis in the Workplace E-learning

When a crisis hits, managers have to keep both their teams and the operation on track, usually with very little information to go on. Situations escalate quickly, and the questions they need answered are the ones nobody has time to look up mid-event: what to do first, what to say when facts are scarce, where to turn for support. Preparing them afterwards is too late. This course gives them the answers, and a checklist, before worry or crisis reaches your workplace.

From the course:

  • Twelve frequently asked manager questions about worry and crisis, answered on video

  • What immediate actions to take when a crisis occurs

  • How to communicate when information is scarce

  • Handling worry in your team, and your own

  • A crisis checklist for managers to download and keep at hand

After the course:

  • Managers know what to do in the first hours of a crisis

  • Communication continues even when information is scarce, instead of stalling

  • Worry in the team gets addressed rather than left to spread

  • Managers know where to turn for support, for the organisation and for themselves

The course includes a series of short videos by Licensed psychologist Alexandra Sjöström, addressing common questions and concerns. You’ll also receive information on management support and a useful checklist. The course takes about 20 minutes in total to complete.

For you who need to prepare people with team responsibility, whether or not they have handled a crisis before.
