SWEM – Systematic Work Environment Management E-learning
Systematic work environment management is required by Swedish law, and much of the responsibility rests with your managers. In practice it often slips: risks get assessed once and never revisited, actions are decided but not followed up, and no one is quite sure who does what. This course gives managers the basic laws and regulations that govern work environment management, in English, and shows them how to investigate the work environment, assess risks, take action and follow up.
From the course:
- What the work environment is
- The laws and regulations that govern it, and who does what
- Introduction to systematic work environment management
- Checking that the rules are followed
- Investigating the work environment
- Risk assessment, taking action and following up
After the course:
- Managers know what the law requires of them and where their own responsibility starts
- Risk assessment and follow-up become a routine rather than a one-off exercise
- Managers across the organisation work to the same method and the same vocabulary
- You can show that the basic knowledge requirement has been met
The course takes about 60 minutes, and a passed knowledge test at the end gives a certificate of completion.
The course is based on Feelgood’s extensive experience of supporting clients across a wide range of industries with systematic work environment management.Suits you who need to give new managers a basic grounding in work environment management, or to refresh it for those who have been in the role a while. It's a foundation course, not a deep course in any single risk area.
